This is a student-led event presenting a series of speakers and round table discussions in a religious, scholarly and political inquiry that looks at the history of co-existence of different religions in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The meeting is particularly focused on the current crisis in Iraq and Syria. As a key goal, this conference is being convened to demand of stake-holders and religious leaders an “inter-religious theological response” that pushes against the rise in religious violence and galvanizes global action on this issue. |
